We’ve found that, when communicating with customers or other people about what we do, it’s hard to avoid water puns. We’ve got innovative new services ‘in the pipeline’; we’re ‘testing the water’ on a range of new tailored products; or our customers are ‘making a splash’ in their own businesses with water efficiency and financial savings.
But one thing we’ve found since we began supplying water to Scottish businesses and public bodies just over three years ago, is that – in a new competitive water market – communication is everything.
We’re operating in a completely new market, where for the first time anywhere in the world, Scottish organisations can choose who supplies their water and waste water services.
That’s one of the reasons we’ve set up this blog. We realise that, in today’s world, communications channels are many and varied, and it’s important to us that we get feedback from our customers and other stakeholders.
As well as posts about important new services and some inside information about Business Stream, we’ll be blogging about other interesting issues in the news.
We’d love to get your feedback on what we’re doing and what we say here, so please feel free to comment. You can also subscribe using the RSS feed or via email.
And we’ll try to keep the puns to a minimum.
