10 May 2012 - Water supply problems in Ayr postcodes KA7, KA8 and KA9.
There is a burst water main in Maybole Road. Customers may experience low water pressure, loss of water supply or a discoloration to water. Scottish Water are working hard to restore supplies to the area.

Chloramination
From the 1 April 2012 Scottish Water will be changing the way they treat the water supply in Orkney. The new treatment process means a change from the use of chlorine to chloramine as the method of improving water quality in their network.
