Water leak detection and repair

Most underground water leaks don’t come to the surface – so they can go unnoticed for years.

Water leaks – what to do

If you suspect a water leak on your property, act quickly. The sooner you get it fixed, the more money you stand to save.

You can do a simple check if you suspect a leak. Take meter readings over a quiet period so that you can work out your average consumption. It's best to do this when your water consumption should be at its lowest – for example, last thing at night and first thing in the morning.

You can also use our online water benchmark calculator to see if your water use is as expected.

If there is a higher consumption than expected, this could indicate a leak. If you think a burst pipe might be causing your water bills to be higher than they should be, get in touch to see if we can help.

How we can help

Our water leak detection specialists work fast to track and repair water leaks with minimum disruption to your business.

First we’ll survey your site. This doesn’t involve digging. We make use of manual and electronic water leak detection techniques – for instance, sound wave technology can often track the vibrations from the noise made by escaping water.

Once we find the problem area, we’ll be able to advise on what’s needed. A spot repair might do the trick, but if there’s a lot of corrosion or multiple leaks it might be worth replacing larger sections.

If you know where the leak is, we’ll either repair it or work with your own team to deliver the best solution.
