The closer we can work together, the more we can do for you - and the easier it is for us to make sure everything is working as it should be.
We’ll do everything we can to fix problems as soon as they come up, but we need your help to do so.
All we ask is that you:
- let us make arrangements on your behalf to install, maintain, test, repair, replace, remove, disconnect or reconnect meters and metering equipment
- agree to get consent (as required by law) for any physical work this might involve – from your landlord for example, if you're a tenant under a lease, for example
- allow us safe and unobstructed access (sometimes by vehicle) to your business premises to carry out our duties
- provide any information or help in a timely fashion so that we can take care of any maintenance or repair duties for you.
- agree that you'll comply with any laws, permits and consents that are related to the supply of water or waste water, including Scottish Water Byelaws
Protecting your pipework
Any pipework within the boundary of your premises is your responsibility, so make sure it is protected from extreme weather or any other type of damage.
We can help you identify any cracks or leaks in the pipes, but you will have to pay for any repairs that need doing.
If you think there is a problem with your pipework, give us a call on 0845 602 8855 or email our customer response team at customer.service@business-stream.co.uk
