NHS Lothian [457 KB | PDF] Lothian University Hospital Division installed smart meters to measure consumption every 15 minutes at one of its hospitals. It helped unearth a burst pipe which, now repaired, is saving them £130,000 a year in water and sewerage charges.

Scottish Prison Service (SPS)  [188 KB | PDF] A leak was found within the prison boundary but required assistance with detection and repair.  Not only did the leak cut-off the prison’s water supply, it also caused the prison’s water storage tanks, which provide an auxiliary water supply, to run dry. Unable to repair the leak SPS contacted us and we immediately got to work on resolving the potentially disastrous problem.

Clackmannanshire Council [599 KB | PDF] When Clackmannanshire Council set out to replace their residents’ water infrastructure, they knew that an integrated approach would keep the project simple and quick to administer. With hundreds of houses needing their water pipes upgraded, the council wanted to act quickly. Business Stream delivered the project in a third of the allocated time.
