Moving premises guidance
In this section you'll find everything you need to manage moving premises with us.
Prior to leaving your property
As our terms and conditions indicate, you need to give us at least 14 days’ notice before you move out of your property. Please drop us an email to customer.service@business-stream.co.uk and let us know the date you’re moving. Please include your customer reference number, your telephone number and the address of the property that we supply.
Take a meter reading when leaving
If the property you are leaving has a meter (and it's safe to do so) make a note of the reading and the serial number on the day you move out. This will make sure your final bill is as accurate as possible.
Inform us of your meter reading and new contact details
When you have moved out, complete the relevant form opposite, so we can send you a final bill for your old property – and, if you are moving to a new property, set up your new account.
About ten working days after, you will receive the final bill for your old property and if you’re continuing your supply, the first bill for your new property.
