Business Stream is supporting World Toilet Day on Thursday 19 November, by encouraging businesses to claim their free water saving hippo from us. 

World Toilet Day has been organised by the charity Water Aid UK, to celebrate the humble, yet vitally important, toilet and to raise awareness of the global sanitation crisis.

By popping a simple plastic bag called a hippo, into the toilet’s cistern, you can save around 3.5 litres of the usual nine litres of water required to flush a toilet. Hippos help users reduce their water costs, as well as contribute to their green credentials – meaning benefits for everyone.
