Charges for property and roads drainage, as well as unmetered water and waste water, are all based on the rateable value of the property.

For most customers, the RV used for any unmetered water and waste water charging, as well as for property and roads drainage, will be the one assigned in March 2000, unless:

• the property has been built since then
• the property has been re-valued following modifications or extensions
• the property has been brought into charge for the first time after March 2000
• the March 2000 RV is no longer available

If, because of one of the reasons above, it’s not appropriate to bill on the March 2000 RV, charges will be applied based on the RV held by the local Council Regional Assessors in March 2005.
