North Lanarkshire Leisure [250 KB | PDF] To drive financial and enviromental sustainability North Lanarkshire Leisure developed an energy management policy and fitted smart meters allowing them to monitor consumption and detect leaks. Saving £20,000 in less than two months.
Dumfries House [187 KB | PDF]: When Dumfries House noticed it was paying for a lot more water than it was actually using, Business Stream helped identify a series of leaks and taught them how to monitor consumption to avoid future problems. Detecting leaks saved over £11,000.
Tesco [192 KB | PDF] By working with us and installing smart metering to track water usage and highlight leaks in their Scottish stores, the UK’s largest supermarket chain reduced water consumption by 7.6% per m² of sales space over two years. This translates into significant savings and substantial reductions in the amount of CO² produced by Tesco in Scotland, helping manage their carbon footprint.
West Dunbartonshire Council [259 KB | PDF] Reducing water consumption and cost across schools was a priority so we installed smart meters to log the amount of water used in each school. These readings were benchmarked against national averages and after conducting water audits, a number of leaks and inefficiencies were spotted. After repairing these and putting in place new recommended practices, year on year savings of over £56,000 were achieved.
