Coca-Cola’s Scottish presence needed to find a maintenance provider that could match its ambitious goals to curb water waste.
A maintenance contract was awarded to maintain the factory’s water treatment system, but Coca Cola needed to find a partner with the ability to build on these environmental improvements.

Business Stream wasted no time dealing with faults in the company’s water treatment plant – optimising its usage and reducing wastage from the system at a stroke.
- Settings on the treatment plant were optimised for efficiency
- This saved 75 cubic metres of water each hour which otherwise would have been wasted
- A graphic of the plant and operational manual was produced to enable better management
- Overall water consumption at the plant was reduced by 1.4%
