BAA was concerned about water consumption rates at Glasgow Airport.
We put automated meter reading technology to work at various points of the site. Then our leak detection team swung into action, quickly unearthing a number of infrastructure leaks.
Daily water use at the airport halved once the leaks were repaired. Had the waste gone undetected, the cost to the airport could have been as high as £21,900 per month.
