Billing

What happens to my existing Direct Debit?

If you currently pay by Direct Debit, this will automatically transfer to Business Stream, there’s nothing you need to do. When and how much you pay will remain exactly the same.

What will I need to do as a result of the transfer?

Your transfer from Yorkshire Water Business Services to Business Stream should be seamless. The only thing you need to do is make sure you pay Business Stream from 1 October. If you pay by Direct Debit, this will automatically transfer over for you. If not, you’ll find Business Stream payment details on your Business Stream branded bill.

When will I have to update my payment details?

You should update your payment detail from Yorkshire Water Business Services to Business Stream when you receive your Business Stream branded bill after 1 October.

When will I receive Business Stream’s bank details?

We will be writing to you with these details throughout October and November 2019. And our bank details will be on all the bills you receive after 1 October 2019.

Will there be changes to my bill?

When and how much you pay will remain exactly the same. The only changes will be that the bank details and branding will change to Business Stream.

When will I receive my first Business Stream bill?

Your bills will come from Business Stream from 1 October 2019.

Will I still pay the same for my water services and waste water services?

Yes! When and how much you pay will remain exactly the same.

Will my account stay the same?

Yes. Your customer reference number and details will all remain the same, and will transfer automatically to Business Stream.

How do I set up Business Stream as a supplier on my systems?

If you’d like to set Business Stream up as a supplier on your financial systems in advance, we’re here to help. Call us on 0345 1 24 24 20.

How do I change my account details?

You can call us to make changes to your account on 0345 1 24 24 20 before and after 1 October 2019.

To make your transfer from Yorkshire Water Business Services to Business Stream as seamless as possible, we’ve retained the same Yorkshire-based customer service team. So you can call us on the same number and hear the same friendly voices. 

I am relocating to another premises, how do I notify you of our move?

Please call us to tell us about your relocation on 0345 1 24 24 20. If it’s before 1 October 2019, you will still be a customer of Yorkshire Water Business Services. After that date, you will be a Business Stream customer. But in either case, the phone number remains the same.

I only receive water/sewerage from Yorkshire Water Business Services, what will happen to my account?

After 1 October 2019, your service will transfer over to Business Stream. The services you receive as well as when and how much you pay will remain the same. You’ll just see our branding on your bill and change payment details from Yorkshire Water Business Services to Business Stream.

Can I stay with Yorkshire Water Business Services?

No. Yorkshire Water Business Services will no longer be working with business customers so you can’t stay with them. They have chosen us as the best people to take on their customers and we have retained the same Yorkshire-based customer service team to make sure your transition is as seamless as possible.
