Business Stream wins at the LGC Business Partnership Awards 2011

We won the Partnership in Environment Award at the LGC Business Partnership Awards 2011 for our pioneering partnership with Glasgow City Council.

Business Stream wins Partnership in Environment Award

The LGC Business Partnership Awards 2011 rewards those who have demonstrated outstanding joint working with councils, with awards going to those showing excellence in their proactive approach to drive best practice forward within their partnership, as well as demonstrating ways in which they have achieved excellence and greater efficiency.

Working with Glasgow City Council we came up with an innovative approach that allowed the authority to achieve substantial savings through better water management without any upfront costs through a ‘gainshare’ model.  The project expects to help the council save £1.3 million over four years equating to 1105 tonnes of carbon.
