Charges for 2011/12

Our charges for 2011/12 take effect from 1 April 2011.

Charges for water and waste water services are updated on 1 April every year, and are issued and approved by the industry regulator, the Water Industry Commission for Scotland. You can see all of the 2011/12 charges for all of our services now, so you’ll know what to expect on next year’s bill.

All charges take effect from 1 April 2011, so if your bill includes services from before then, the costs for these services will be split to charge you the appropriate rates for each financial year. Usage charges are still two-tiered if your water meter is 20mm or smaller, so the first 25m3 of water and 23.75m3 of waste water used from 1 April 2011 will be charged at a different rate than your subsequent usage for the year.

Full business metering

If you’ve been part of the full business metering project, the final phase of your metered charges take effect from 1 April 2011, with metered charges making up 100% of your volumetric charges.
