Clever water management

Plan a little more, use less – shrewd business thinking that could help save you money.

Save water and you save money. Simple.

You also help preserve precious resources at a time when they are becoming increasingly  scarce because of the effects of climate change.

We’ve got some clever little ideas (and some pretty clever big ones) to help your company reduce its costs and its environmental impact. Best of all, there are loads of things you can do that won’t cost you a penny. For example:

  • collect rainwater for watering plants or washing equipment
  • make sure your taps are always turned off
  • switch water-using machinery off when not in use
  • put a water saving device in your toilet’s cistern (claim your free Hippo today)

Others require a bit of investment up front, but will save you money in the long run:

  • install low or dual-flush toilets to reduce water usage and waste water production
  • use tap controls to reduce water usage
  • use urinal controls to reduce water usage
