Interruptions to your water supply
No water from your taps? It could be down to repair work, but we’ll do our best to keep you up to date.
Planned interruptions
Sometimes your water supply may be turned off for scheduled mains upgrade works by Scottish Water. You’ll normally be notified in advance of this, so you can plan for it.
Unplanned interruptions
In the winter, particularly, Scottish Water occasionally has to do emergency repairs to water mains pipes.

Current interruptions
Due to the ongoing tram works in Edinburgh city centre, Scottish Water have advised that there may be temporary interruptions to water supplies for customers’ throughout January and February.
