If you currently have an AMR installed by another retailer and you’d like us to use its data for billing purposes, you can submit your meter readings on My Business Stream or by emailing them to us at publicsector@business-stream.co.uk.

Benefit from free AMR for larger sites
Through the current Framework, we’ve rolled-out free AMRs for any loggable meters that are 30mm and above which don’t already have AMRs installed. Where we currently provide free AMR units on meters that are 50mm or above, we’ll continue to do so. If you have queries on this, please get in touch with your dedicated Account Manager.
Please note, if a cable is damaged and needs replacing, you may be liable for the costs of the replacement.
Take control of costs and consumption
You’ll have access to all of your AMR data, site-specific and estate-wide, through our AMR portal - Utilities Manager - and the Intelligent Water Management (IWM) interactive online service, with all data platforms accessible via My Business Stream. These tools mean you can easily monitor and drive down your consumption.
We also offer a comprehensive suite of reports including portfolio and single site data, consumption reporting, budget alerts, historical trend data and a handy benchmarking tool, to help you understand your water usage.
We’ll set up alerts, notifying you of potential leaks and pressure issues, and we’ll monitor these regularly. We’ll run a diagnostic report on your portfolio every morning too. This allows us to identify issues including with our data loggers, most of which we can fix remotely to avoid the disturbance of ad-hoc visits.
Help for smaller meters
We provide graduated pricing to encourage and enable the installation and adoption of AMR on smaller meter sizes. We offer a 15% discount for installing AMR on meters 20mm and smaller, and a 10% discount for 25mm meters.
If you’d like AMR for smaller meters, 25mm and below, you can request this from your Account Manager directly and we’ll provide you with a bespoke proposal based on agreed Framework pricing.
