The launch of Business Stream’s new website

Preparing for the opening of the non-household water market in England isn’t the only important thing we’ve been focussing on during the last year.

We’ve spent a lot of time and effort developing a fantastic new website for our current and future customers.

There are so many benefits to be gained from having a professional, customer-focussed website. Whether to promote products and services, provide information and advice, or enable customers to make purchases or payments, a website can do all of this and more. And it never closes – it is available 24/7!

According to the Office of National Statistics, 77% of adults bought goods or services online during 2016. Most (70%) used a mobile phone or smartphone. Indeed it’s difficult to imagine any modern, credible company without an online presence. But that presence needs to meet customers’ requirements and promote a business in the best possible way. There’s no point having online visibility if it doesn’t do the job.

So it’s no surprise that we have dedicated considerable attention to redesigning our brand new website, which we are proud to launch this month. With just a short time before the English market opens, it’s crucial we exploit the latest technology to offer the best service possible to our current and new customers. 

We’ve put a lot of thought into our new-look site. Before we started, we did extensive research to see what our customers wanted and needed. We were asked to develop a website which was truly interactive and enabled customers to study all their water and waste water options. Our customers also said that it had to be simple to use and flexible.

To make sure we got it right, we undertook rigorous testing before we went live. The feedback gathered ensured we designed a site that truly meets everyone’s needs. 

Our new website:

  • Has a much more accessible design – meaning visitors can quickly and easily find the information they’re looking for
  • Features all our of latest services  – showcasing to customers what benefits we can offer their business
  • Highlights Business Stream as the true water experts – from our refreshed branding to our website content, our expertise and knowledge is clear
  • Plus, it’s fully responsive – so it will work across all devices whether a visitor is on a mobile device or desktop.
