Who is Business Stream?
We’re one of the UK’s leading business water retailers. We’re proud to be one of the most experienced retailers in the market with experience of working with businesses and public sector organisations the length and breadth of the country. Our award winning customer service (we won 8 National and International customer service awards last year) is designed to make doing business with us as easy as possible.
Our head office is in Edinburgh but we have local customer service teams across the country including Glasgow, Worthing and now Bradford. We know water probably isn’t the most important item on your to-do list but making water work for you is top of ours. We work hard to make a positive difference to our customers and the world in which we operate. Our aim is to help customers use water wisely, to save them money and help protect the environment.
Since 2008, Business Stream has helped its customers save more than £242 million on their water bills. And, as passionate advocates of water efficiency, we’ve worked hard to help our customers conserve over 38 billion litres of water. These benefits include £87 million in water efficiency savings, more than £143 million in discounts and over £11 million in energy efficiency savings.
Why is Yorkshire Water Business Services transferring its customers to Business Stream?
Yorkshire Water announced their intention to leave the non-household water retail market in 2017, in order to focus on their core regulated business. Since then they’ve been working to find a new supplier who will offer you the same high-quality service you’ve come to expect.
When will I transfer to Business Stream?
The intent is that all current Yorkshire Water Business Services customers will transfer to Business Stream on 1st October 2019.
Do I need to do anything?
There’s nothing you need to do right now. Yorkshire Water Business Services will be in touch over the next couple of months with more information about the transition.
