One of the UK’s largest workspace management and business support service providers has signed up to a new two year water contract with Business Stream.
This announcement follows the news in 2017 that Regus Management (UK) had chosen to renew its contract with Business Stream in Scotland to support its 18 locations, after realising over £100,000 of savings within two years.
The latest agreement with Regus will see Business Stream manage all 280 of its English sites in addition to their Scottish portfolio. The water expert, one of the largest in the new Anglo-Scottish retail water market, will provide water supply and waste water services to the company. The contract will also see Regus consolidate all of its water and wastewater billing through Business Stream, benefitting from having a single contact for all its water needs.
Jo Dow, Chief Executive, Business Stream, said: “We’re really pleased to be working with Regus across all of their UK sites after working together in Scotland over the past 3 years. We are looking forward to building on this partnership and working with Regus to deliver further financial and environmental benefits”.
Derek Salter, UK Procurement Director Regus Management (UK) Limited, said: “We value the account management support we’ve received from Business Stream to date in Scotland. This next chapter will see us continue this positive relationship as we look to make further water efficiency savings across our English portfolio.”
England’s non-domestic water market, which covers all premises across private and public sector organisations, opened to competition in April 2017.
The Scottish market opened in April 2008 and since then Business Stream customers have saved more than £160 million on their water bills and conserved over 24 billion litres of water. Last year, the company acquired the non-household customer base of Southern Water, increasing its foothold in England.
