Job description:
Desired skills:
Got a gift for connecting with people?
If you enjoy helping others and staying calm under pressure, you could be our next Customer Service Adviser. This is a role where empathy, quick thinking and clear communication really matter.
About the role
As a Customer Service Adviser, you’ll be the first point of contact for our customers, handling inbound calls and supporting them with a wide range of queries. You’ll listen carefully, provide clear and accurate information, and work confidently to resolve issues while delivering a positive experience every time.
This is an office based role within a small, friendly contact centre where team work is central and colleagues work collaboratively to deliver shared business KPI’s.
Day to day, you will:
- Take customer calls and respond to enquiries clearly and professionally
- Troubleshoot issues and find the right solution
- Keep customer records up to date
- Play a key role in representing our organisation and values
What makes you just right for us?
You’re someone who genuinely enjoys speaking to people and understands the importance of great service. You’re warm, patient and empathetic, even when conversations are challenging. You’re able to adapt your approach depending on the customer and are comfortable handling a variety of queries.
You don’t need to have all the answers from day one — we’ll provide training and support — but you do need a positive attitude, resilience, and a willingness to learn.
Experience of working in a busy call centre is preferred.
What’s in it for you?
You’ll be a key team player in one of the largest water retailers in the UK, with lots of benefits and the chance to grow your career.
- Starting salary of £25,887 increasing to £26,500 once training and probation are complete (usually 6 - 9 months).
- Working hours Monday to Friday, between 9am and 5pm, and no evenings or weekends, so a great work life balance.
- 10% annual bonus potential
- Attractive pension plan
- 31 days annual leave and six bank holidays
- Subsidised restaurant and free gym membership
- Employee discounts
