About the role

We’re looking for a Microsoft Dynamics Change Lead to play a pivotal role in maximising the value of our Dynamics platform and supporting the continued evolution of Business Stream’s digital capability. Sitting within our Business Change & Continuous Improvement team and reporting to the Head of Business Change & CI, you’ll act as the crucial link between business stakeholders and technical teams - ensuring our Dynamics solutions align with strategic objectives and deliver measurable business benefits.

In this role, you will:

  • Own and manage the Microsoft Dynamics product backlog, prioritising enhancements, features and fixes to deliver real business value.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to gather requirements, shape user stories and define clear acceptance criteria.
  • Work closely with developers, testers and technical specialists to ensure high quality, timely‑ delivery.
  • Champion best practice across Dynamics configuration, customisation, integration and automation.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for Microsoft Dynamics, guiding users and supporting adoption.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, updates and emerging technologies.
  • Ensure all information and records are managed in compliance with GDPR, Information Security and Records Management requirements.
  • Promote a strong Health & Safety culture across your area of responsibility.

About you

You’ll bring strong experience of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM, ERP, or both) in the capacity of product ownership, change management or business analysis, ideally with a solid understanding of Agile ways of working. You’ll be confident operating in an agile environment, collaborating closely with cross‑ functional teams and influencing outcomes even without direct authority.

We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate:

Essential

  • Proven experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365, including configuration, customisation and integration with other systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and hands on experience in A‑gile delivery teams.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and actionable tasks.
  • Experience working with developers, testers and technical teams to deliver system changes.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data, metrics and feedback to inform decisions.
  • Experience providing system guidance, training or support as a subject matter expert.
  • Experience ensuring compliance with data protection, information security and GDPR.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A collaborative, engaging approach with the ability to build strong working relationships.

Desirable

  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Fundamentals or Agile/Scrum qualifications.
  • Experience designing cloud flows in Power Automate or building Business Process Flows.
  • Experience in a regulated or utilities environment.
  • A customer focused‑ mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced‑, evolving environment.
