Billing and payment
Paying your water bill couldn’t be simpler. There are a few ways to pay your bill, simply choose the one that works best for you.
Pay online using your credit or debit card. You’ll need your customer reference number – it’s the 10 digit number on your bill.
Would you like to spread the cost of your water bill and not have to worry about making payments? You can do this by setting up a Direct Debit here.
Internet banking or BACS
In order for us to process your payment as efficiently as possible, please follow these steps when paying your bill by internet banking or BACS.
- If you’re paying a bill for one account, please quote your customer reference number in the BACS or internet banking payment description.
If you’re paying a bill which covers multiple accounts, please send your remittance to email@example.com quoting your business name and customer account number in the subject line of your email.

Pay over the phone using your credit or debit card. Call our dedicated payment line on 0345 124 2420
You can pay in cash at any retail outlet where you see a PayPoint sign however, please don’t use a PayPoint card as this now holds incorrect payment details and we won’t receive your payment. Alternatively, you can continue to pay at a PayPoint using the barcode on your bill.
At your bank
Pay in branch by signing and dating the payment slip and handing in the whole bill with your payment. If you’re paying by cheque, make it out to Business Stream and write your customer reference number on the back.
Simply tear off the payment slip at the bottom of your bill and send it with your cheque made payable to Business Stream to:
